When they emerged the council voted 4 to 2 to notify the chief of the city intent to dismiss her.The council vote was on their intent to terminate Dixon, so that means she is not officially fired at this time. Gill supports chief Dixon."I didn feel like I had enough information on the allegations, and felt this was not warranted to take this unnecessary step," said Councilman Gill.The investigation Tren 100 Injection started in July and the city paid an outside investigator more than $5,000 to get to the bottom of the matter. The investigator work is done.So far Chief Dixon has not responded to WSFA request for a response.Thursday vote only dealt with Dixon and not Deputy Chief Anthony Crenshaw, which is a separate case.The meeting and the vote culminate weeks of Manufacturers Testosterone Cypionate an independent investigation ordered by the city council into alleged wrongdoing by the chief. It is not clear at this point what the allegations are. However, Mayor Willis said in the beginning this was a criminal matter. Chief Dixon and Deputy Police Chief Anthony Crenshaw have been on paid administrative leave since July 21. Crenshaw status was not addressed at Thursday meeting.On July 28, Dixon filed an official complaint against the city with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, or EEOC, in which she alleges both age and sex discrimination by the City of Wetumpka.Crenshaw followed suit with an EEOC complaint of his own on August 18 citing racial discrimination and retaliation for his support of the city female police chief.
